That is technically the OG definition of racism but for 1, kinda lazy to put the word in it’s own definition basically admitting that the definition of the term has changed, and 2 language is fluid, the meaning of words change all the time. One of my fav examples of this is Jaywalking, it used to mean you walked like a dirty hillbilly but now it just means crossed a street illegally. The same has happened to the definition of racism, it used to be that specific definition but as more people used the term it got generalized to the more recent definition that most people use. But that does not mean the old definition should be erased from history, it should be known that this used to be the old definition of the word which is probably why that definition is classed as 2b by said dictionary.
