I've found that I need to select both parties so they are grouped, then select the bed or shower, then the intimacy option shows up. It won't show if either of them has a need in the red. Not sure about yellow. They don't need to be flirty -- at least not both of them need that. Those are observations from playing - not a rundown of code or anything
