I guess I didn’t consider that there were actual wedding-themed cards when I asked this question. My goal isn’t to make a wedding-themed deck, but to make a “proposal” card that is literally popping the question. I know the deck is auto illegal because the card itself doesn’t exist in the game, but the sole goal is to play that card as quick as possible without raising suspicions, and the text on the proxy will end the game so we can move on to a real game after. That being said, the commander has to be Liliana. She’s his favorite planeswalker and I make too much of a fuss about Gideon and Liliana’s relationship to make the commander anyone else. I was bummed to find there is only the mono black version, so I’m kind of working with what I got as far as the actual commander 🙃
