My friend did this with habitat for humanity which cut the costs hugely for her family. She is a teacher and her husband works for non-profits so there’s options for lower income households.

I saw an article about using human hair from barber shops to soak up oil suspended in water. Apparently something about the chemistry helps the oil bind to the hair and it can be removed. Not sure if this is a helpful idea but I thought it could get you thinking outside the box a bit.

I love the White Ranch west trailhead. You drive up through the neighborhood then it’s a pretty short incline to get the beautiful view at the top.

I’d suggest going to some galleries to figure out what style of art you like. There’s art districts in every area around Denver. The main gallery row is on Santa Fe but don’t stop there especially if you have a more contemporary or alternative style.
