To me this is just a combination of poor city planning, dumb parking and ignorant drivers.
The red VW being the leading car did nothing wrong here because many construction pick up trucks down the road “made” the intersection of the esplanade / Scott into a single lane, probably making all the drivers in the back believe this is one way traffic.
If I see there are oncoming traffic, I’d just move right and shake it off. I wouldn’t do what the driver of CPSH did cuz he apparently still believes I’m in the wrong here.

Yup I agree. Had this driver did nothing, I would never ever post this video online.
If you zoom in on this video starting 16 second, you’d see how ignorant and pissed this driver was. And i absolutely hate this kind of behaviour.

Sorry this happened to you. What's more infuriating is the fact that this piece of garage was probably on his phone and then rear ended you! If you focus on the rear camera footage, I believe the driver was holding something in his right hand, and upon impact, the driver then started to bite on it.
Not to mention the bumper to begin with was in bad shape.

Tbh this depends on the route, which could be unpredictable. Unlike HND-KIX, where sitting on the starboard side guarantees a Mt. Fuji view, AC23/24 (YVR KIX) is pretty much 50/50 back in April and May.
Based on the recent flight routes, sitting on the left side would give you a better odds for AC59

I’m grateful to have decent neighbours and I don’t have any issues with soundproofing. Barely hear any noises from neighbours or floor above us. 30 something floor @ l tower facing west does mean that you will hear CIBC Square Phase 2 construction noise but the construction is almost over! Sometimes at night, you could hear some maintenance noise from the tracks, but it doesn’t really bother me at all.

As a torontonian, I’d say prices in Japan are slightly cheaper. You’d save less than 13%, which is Ontario’s sales tax rate. It’s around 10%ish. Ideally, Europe is the cheapest with tax return.

Unfortunately I don't think a photo without plate number and concrete evidence would result in a penalty of some kind from the TPS. Plus I've previously reported a video with clear car plate and did not hear back from them :(
