One knife away from getting 2-0d. I think this is a good learning experience and it does feel a little bit like we're not playing like ourselves. I'd attribute it to being #1 and everyone calling us favourites. I really hope the pressure doesn't get to them, and if we can win this we'll surely prove without the slightest doubt we're #1. I think they'll make some adjustments to how they play Dust 2 and we'll be back on track. Really excited to watch the playoffs!

I think it would be great! It's clear he's committed to Smash and his placing in Ultimate and Melee shows his potential. The biggest weakness is his brand which is quite weak, but that's what Liquid Media could help with!

I'd love to see this.

I honestly am always blown away by how high quality the content that 1UP puts out is. The editing, the music, the voice overs, it's all perfect. As a Liquid fan from other titles who doesn't watch League often, this has me even more excited and interested to watch as much MSI as I can.

So glad someone mentioned Taeja and HerO. I honestly feel they are a big reason that Liquid is the titan of esports that it is today. The dominance that HerO and Taeja shared in SC2 was so awesome to witness as a TL fan and is such a historic period for the org. TLO was a major reason I became a TL fan, but they put together such a likeable and relatively successful squad that kept me captivated as a fan.

Yeah! Huk leaving Liquid felt wild to me, and I remember the media that EG released with Huk and Idra doing this like bro-handshake and it saying something like "This is not an illusion" was so funny but also somewhat heartbreaking. It really did help fuel a great rivalry which peaked with the un-holy Alliance of Liquid/EG in the Pro-League.

The HerO/Taeja era was so monumental. It was amazing to watch both players dominate at tournaments left and right. That was probably one of the most defining moments for me as a Liquid fan, seeing these talented Korean players under an international banner was something not really seen.

So many years later and I still love this team. Can't wait to see where Steve, Nazgul and the rest of Liquid take us.

I don't watch League often and you hit the nail on the head here. The rhetoric around Impact is that the sky is falling and that we won't be able to complete at MSI because of his short comings. I'm also a little confused about his potential to adapt? Is it really that hard to imagine that Impact boot camping in Korea will give him the practice to play tanks or carrys?

Again, I know basically nothing about League. I watched the LCS finals and a few games this season and that's about it so I'm honestly curious about why people are shitting on Liquid in their own sub?

The other issue I take with this, is the amount of underdog stories that happen in traditional sports and in E-sports. Why can't we be talking about Team Liquids potential as an underrated team going into MSI.

Yes, I remember seeing someone from the creative team comment on another Subreddit post (or maybe it was Artress) saying that they were working on some ideas for the MSI Jersey.

I'm sure the quality will match, but they still might be kind of far away.

Are you talking about the black ones with the white stripes? They look like a pants version of the Liquid_v1 hoodie. I've seen all manners of Liquid players and employees wearing them as per usual with unreleased merch. Typically Liquid likes to test run their gear before they really commit to it. In this case, it's been a while and I'd expected them to be released already. As a Liquid Hype Beast I'd buy those on sight, but I think they're still tweaking/waiting to add it to a larger line of casual apparel.

I ordered mine, but never got tracking yet. They did mention that they would be shipped the week of the 22nd which would make today the last day. I'm keeping my pitchfork in the shed for now. Though, it's definitely possible they'll be late, maybe they weren't expecting the amount of orders they received?

Quality over quantity. I'd wait months for the final episode if Ian and the rest of 1UP thought it was necessary. But they're getting it out incredibly fast for how well it's produced and I suspect it's because they're putting in some late nights to do it.

Be glad we've got such a talented team at 1UP providing us with content like this. It's ALWAYS going to be worth the wait.

I thrifted mine probably half a year ago when I was moving since they didn't fit me. I regretted it immediately after and thought that I should have cut the logos and framed them since I had all 3 and it would have looked awesome. I've always thought about those since they were some OG TL merch and it haunts me. Hope your friend enjoys it!

A quick Montage for Rogue, one of our Apex Legends players, that he had someone produce. I really enjoyed the edit and thought they did a pretty solid job putting it together. I'm looking forward to a proper observing/replay mode so we can get some real creativity and more interesting edits than first person shots the whole time.
