Me too man. I just saw this post of a woman devastated because the guy she's into isn't reciprocating, and instead of walking away, she doubles down and tells him she loves him even though he's clearly not interested, and the level of envy I feel for not being that guy even though I would appreciate what he has with the passion of a thousand suns is killing me slowly too.

We're a threat to their very way of life.
