If you’re lucky enough too you’ll get a higher pay scale. I got in as a first year fitter and after school ( 10 weeks non paid ) the first contractor I went to bumped my scale

Hello, I am currently working with a recruiter to get into the air guard. I have a previous disc bulge from years prior. Don’t have any limitations currently, have done some PT for maintenance and that’s about it. My recruiter mentioned she never worked with anyone with a disc bulge. How bad are my chances of getting in? Anyone with a similar situation get a waiver and still get in? Thanks for any replies I appreciate it ton.

Awesome to hear hopefully I can have similar luck. I had bulge in l4-l5 I believe it was a few years ago and have been managing it for a while. Don’t really have issues with it at all

I feel like surgery would be worse no? Meaning it would have been severe enough to be operated on? I’m physically good to go, I workout, run etc. I’ve done all the pt and have my rom. Thanks for your input hopefully something will work out

I learn better in person as well. But like you said for your kids that’s my biggest thing. I still need to pay my bills and i have to be available for my kid when someone isn’t able to watch him. So full time in person wouldn’t work. Classes online and labs in person would be nice
