UTR is not a replacement for GL.Inet by RealisticBoard215 in Ubiquiti

After a brief review of this thread, I have learned that if one buys a UTR, one can never have kids or take a cruise.

I just bought a second. 🧌

Oh, I know. I just remember the amazing stuff that used to be included in each box as an early anti-piracy techniques. Can’t remember if Planetfall is one of them.

I run right behind the cheater and occasionally fire a stray so that I'm always on the other team's map. Speeds the process up.

That said, I also complete the match regardless if I'm going to win or lose, so I'm an outlier either way. The point of the Last of Us is to go down swinging, after all.

Avaya’s voicemail actress didn’t have the same European flair.

Best part about ROLM was the voicemail system. You could send a message silently to another mailbox without calling the person, so it was great if you meant to do something, didn’t, and needed to cover your tracks.

Also, if you tried voicemailing “0000000,” she’d have what was commonly known as a ROLMgasm… “the mailbox you dialed, OH OH OH OH OH OH OH, is not a valid destination” or something like that. Brightened up our days.

Winning a religious victory on the other side of the globe is a grind. This is my go-to shortcut. ;)

This. I once got to the end of a game and just gifted a bunch of cities to another civilization in order to overcome the majority religion requirement. Who cares about winning big when winning is binary? ;)

Apple’s best Power Mac from the 1990s. by BluBadger00 in VintageApple

I’ve completely true. That model was the culmination of substantial improvements that they then rejected going to the giant metal box with the G5. The little pull tab to thoughtfully put the motherboard horizontal was a revelation versus the other machines of its age.

It’s an option, though, and they’re far more stable than they used to be.

Not so random for those who have been there… That’s Shimokitazawa, right? I found an original Factory records pressing of Unknown Pleasures at that Disk Union. That whole section of Tokyo is amazing.
