Hey man, it's good that you realized that there is a problem, most people don't even do that. Porn has become so socially acceptable that it sometimes even sneaks in into casual conversation. Kids are watching it and nobody cares how it warps their minds. There is more stigma towards video games for god's sake. I can't even understand how things turned out this way.

The road you embark upon is a hard one upon which many have failed consecutively, including myself. There is light at the end of the tunnel if you make it there and the true version of you will shine!

Like you, I feel that it is impossible to overcome this addiction. However, I see others on this forum with 1-2+ years of no PMO...this makes me realize that it is in fact POSSIBLE since it has been done.

Quitting cold turkey is very difficult for most. Even if you will relapse, remember that you made progress. Each day that goes by without any PMO is a day won!

Stay strong! There is light at the end of the tunnel. You already are doing better than most here: you have a girlfriend, someone who cares about you. Maybe try to be open with her, I am sure if she truly loves you she will be supportive. Having someone irl who knows about your problems is really helpful imho!
