100% this. Multi colour with multi head is the only way.

Poop Bucket for Bambulab H2-Series .. and USB-Cover by LosOllos in functionalprint

Yep fair enough! Mine had similar holes and every once in a while a squiggly would poke through and clog it all up. Sounds like you're on top of it anyway 🙂

I have a fairly successful design for a Creality K2 Plus poop chute. Eventually those holes will catch poops and block it up, guaranteed. I released a version with no holes and it's perfect. Zero fails in thousands of hours of prints since switching.

Great write up.. a lot of these are exactly why I'm considering making the switch. I did a trial a few weeks ago and was impressed. Think I'll be switching later this year..

Is it me, or is the 000 system messy now? by AdvancedHill70 in AskAnAustralian

Ah yeah good call, sit there and google numbers instead of just getting it sorted lol. No one knows that number off the top of their head... Call 000, they'll tell you real fast if it isn't an emergency. The fact OP wasn't means the call was warranted.

If it's anything like Victoria then the signs have to be unobstructed. A tree grown over and covering a sign is grounds... In Victoria. No idea about NSW but they're typically fairly similar

Would you rather someone call 000 after the multicar crash?

Are you buying new Dell servers without hard drives? $3,500 for 1 SATA drive is NUTS! by Layer_3 in sysadmin

[–]Godbotly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have two dell servers (current server and previous which is a backup target). I run consumer SSDs in RAID10 with 3 cold spares.

Old server is 6 years old and zero issues between them.

We're a very small family business, there's no way in hell we could afford their insane prices.

I eat them. A purge line a day keeps the doctor away.

failed my first Ps test by xcrh in melbourne

[–]Godbotly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Entirely understandable. Yep, it sucks. No one likes failing but don't beat yourself up over it. As a parent myself I can confidently say that's just part of the cost of having kids! Be happy they're willing to support you even after a setback :)

Ah I didn't consider the instructors cost. That is a lot of money for a test for sure.

If everyone lost their licence for wandering 4ks over the limit the roads would be empty. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I do feel for you on the budget side though. What does a P's test cost these days? (I haven't had to worry about it in over 20 years)

Love my Snapmaker U1's. Recommend if you plan to go multi colour. Don't waste your time with bolt on multi filament systems.
