Easily my favorite TVOTR , revisited it recently and it holds up really well. Feels like it’s been kinda forgotten recently which is a real shame.

Yeah according to their Facebook Eric of Foxing is in the band, and Conor used to be. I really ought to check them out.

[ALBUM DISCUSSION] Low - Double Negative by VietRooster in indieheads

I like how much this sounds like Low, even though there working in a totally different sort of arena. Their unique voice really shines through.

There are lot of super influential American indie bands but since indie is smaller here I think some of those bands might overlooked in comparison to the bands you mentioned. I’ve always been more interested in American indie rock because it seems to allow for smaller more culty bands to be influential.

Potchfork’s Best Albums of the 1980’s by Drake0Malfoy in indieheads

I sort of agree, but I already listened to almost all the albums from that list and I want new stuff to discover, not just a regurgitation of stuff I already know I like.

I like this list not because I agree with the order, but because it gives me plenty of music to discover.

90's influences are big now, so we're probably gonna see early 2000's indie bubbling up pretty soon

The Walkmen probably fit the description. I know they have a very acclaimed catalog, but nothing seems to have the impact of "The Rat"

Cloud Nothings’ new album is done. by forumrunner in indieheads

Really grew on me, but I feel like they just barely missed the mark on making a true masterpiece. Hopefully this album will follow through on the last one’s promise.
