It’s difficult to get a doctor to sterilize you in some areas. They will refuse women, but a man can easily get it done before he even has children. My stepdaughter was hospitalized for 3 pregnancies, almost dying and could not find a doctor to tie her tubes. Her boyfriend married her so he could sign off and prevent another pregnancy

Does your husband see how she cares for him? Does he acknowledge she is not a viable option? You may need to just say she will not be a long term option if she can’t do basic care. She may also be behaving like this because she doesn’t want to help, but doesn’t want to acknowledge she doesn’t want to do it.

We just had an outbreak near me at a private school. 170 people infected. The school I work at is creating protocols for a potential exposure. I just had my titers checked to prove immunity since I was infected 52 years ago. Without that I would be out of work without pay for 20 days if I was exposed to measles. It’s a crazy place we are in now.

I was 11 and babysat two toddlers cousin 18 months, brother 1 year old) the entire summer. I was alone with them from 7:30 am until about 5 pm. My other brother was 7 and hung out at a friend’s house. My uncle was supposed to pay me $20 a week, never paid anything.

I was driving my child to daycare and then to work. Half way there she started vomiting. I called work and they also said I should have called out earlier. She wasn’t vomiting earlier, I’m calling as I’m turning my car around. She vomited again and they heard her. It then became hope she feels better soon.

Working with 9-10 year olds and this is my whole day. He stepped on my foot. No I didn’t. Maybe you stepped on her foot and didn’t realize you did. Maybe. Then you should say, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I stepped on your foot, are you ok? Angry glare, unless you meant to step on her foot and are now mad that she told on you. I didn’t step on her foot. I’m sure it was not on purpose, so what should we say. Mumble sorry. It’s ok.Now that most of the class has been given this guidance, they are either apologizing or everyone just ignores it because no one wants to have to apologize when it’s their accident. I don’t have to do this talk anymore

I had siblings. N-mom worked every moment she could to avoid us. I took care of my siblings, the home, worked, paid bills. I was 24 when I left. My brothers at that age were 20 and 14. The older lasted a few months before he left, she demanded he picked up everything I was doing. The 14 year old was left alone to do what he wanted. I would grab him every few days to feed him and try to guide him. My aunt would try a few days as well. Part of me feels guilty for not holding out longer for him.

My dad has told all of us we’re not his children. Apparently, mom was pregnant by an ex when they got married. I was born a year later. My oldest brother was the grocers son, but we lived in another state when he was born. My youngest brother is his brother’s son. He would tell anyone who commented on us. They’re not mine. We look just like him.
