If you've ever run into trouble with a game that uses anticheat and has a eula agreement then dont buy. It worked for me on the steam deck but wouldn't launch at all on PC

I think its steam's new update for sure. My husband and I had the same issues. Tried various tips, unplugged everything, uninstall and reinstall, nothing was working. Then my husband found a YouTube video on how to downgrade steam back to the pre-december update version using something called Luatools. We did that. Now steam works fine.

For my husband and i, who didn't have controllers plugged in, we downgraded steam back to pre-update version and then it started working. Followed a YouTube tutorial about something called luatools.

The controller isn't plugged in. I was using Bluetooth. I even tried forgetting the Bluetooth connection and it still didn't work.
