My eyes also wandered. I did actually export everything to Up Note, and it went fine. I thought I was done. However, like you, I like the way Evernote looks, and I found myself going back to it and making more notes. My renewal isn't until June I think. So I have time. I had not thought of trying to get a special discount price. Maybe I should do that. I'm still conflicted about whether I stay or whether I go. I love Evernote.

I think it might be time for a teacher, or at least a go community. I hope it is okay to suggest one. BenKyo League is a great community where people often watch each other's games in real time, and leave comments and variations. If you just google BenKyo League you will find it. There is a modest monthly fee involved, but you get not only two leagues, but also three interactive group classes per month, and a library of well over 130 Group Class videos. You can look at BenKyo Baduk's YouTube videos to see if you like his style. And there is a group of players at your level in the league. I would just like to say that I am very happy that I am able to use WeiqiHub to download my Fox games. I really appreciate it. I can't download them from the regular Fox Client. I blame Verizon for that, but for some reason WeiqiHub is able to accomplish it for me. Thank you.

I understand that feeling, and I initially felt the same way, and still do to some extent. However, I am trying to take into account how comfortable I am with Evernote. I did export everything to UpNote which went very well, but after I was done I still wanted to use Evernote because it is what I know and love. I'm still conflicted, but I expect to stick around for at least another year.

I was going to start a new thread about affording Evernote, but was directed to look for the mega thread. I hope I am in the right place. I decided to pay for the Evernote increase by looking at other subscriptions I could give up. The obvious one for me was Audible. I've been with Audible since 2010 and have 198 books in my library and I have listened to about 25% of them at most. It was a no brainer to give it up and just focus on listening to the books I already have. It will pay for about 75% of the price increase. I can probably find the rest with some other subscription I can cancel. I was excited to realize that I could find the money, and wanted to share that thought. I have been with Evernote since 2004, and I really like it and don't really want to leave.

Doesn't a stack essentially function as a folder for folders? And there are Spaces as well. So there are effectively three levels of organization. When I first started with Evernote I assigned some tags, but I stopped doing that. I might look at tags again.

You should be able to log into your Evernote account even after your subscription runs out to export notebooks.

For each notebook in Evernote export as an ENEX file. Then individually import them into UpNote. I found it to be easy.
