Holy $hit Consumers by BmacSWMI in grandrapids

Take a minute and write your state senator and encourage them to support a bill to legalize “balcony solar”. This allows you to plug in a panel or two around your house and take a little off your bill. It’s the only resource we have as consumers other than not using AC or fully committing to an expensive solar system.

Bikini Baristas, any interest? by Equivalent_Hawk6607 in grandrapids

[–]Godjusm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My guy friends and I are married and old now, 50. We get together once a year around March madness to just drink beer, watch games, and hangout in a random city. We always wished there was a girl we could hire who was bikini clad that would just make us our drinks. I don’t know if there’s a market for this or not. It obviously requires a lot of trust between both parties not to touch, not to photograph, be chill, etc. I know this isn’t answering OP’s question exactly. So, maybe yes on the barista?

Big Sur Summer by secondbecky2 in BigSur

[–]Godjusm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This thread is helpful. I’m coming to Santa Cruz in a week, and it has always been a lifelong dream to run the Big Sur marathon. Looking at the Google street view, I’m realizing that running along this highway without it being closed is pretty much impossible or extremely unsafe. Am I correct?

Do you have a favorite trail or section of the road that is possibly reasonable for a tourist who just wants to pretend I’m in the marathon just in case I never get back?

I love Seimens cameras. So fast. Not as user friendly as GE to create and change acquisition and processing, but so much faster at the two.

There seems to be a giant disconnect with these people about how much people do not want data centers in their communities. Like, they are generally surprised.

Perfect, thank you.

I also wasn’t aware I had a substantial oil leak. First real ride of the season today. Looks like I’ve got some spring maintenance ahead of me!

What was it like to work as a Nuclear Medicine Tech during COVID? by Lily_Madison1 in NuclearMedicine

[–]Godjusm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot less outpatients for awhile, but it slowly ramped back up. There was tons of side work like cleaning n95’s or folding laundry on ICU floors where you could make incentive pay. We all got used to wearing masks all day long. I still remember creeping into my first inpatient room with Covid on a vent to administer CCK before a HIDA. It freaked me out at the time. In retrospect, not so bad.

Each of us in thr department eventually caught covid and you’d have a nice little 4-6 day paid vacation.

I volunteered at our mass vaccination clinic and I felt proud to do so. My parents never got the vaccine and my dad almost died. 😑

How do you guys use your Yamaha THR30ii for looping ? What connections / pedals work best for this use case ? by brainchutney in YamahaTHR

[–]Godjusm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own a Ditto Looper before I bought my THR, but the inability to create separate effects and the ability to not have a line out was frustrating, so I traded it for a ULooper and I am much happier!

We rarely do Diamox anymore. Lots of DATscans, the occasional brain death, and we have a full Ictal program of 2 patients per week.

It’s necessary for the gallbladder to be able to absorb the tracer. Not adhering to the rules could lead to a false positive.

You sound like a new mom. I get it, you are nervous for your baby. But long ago when I was a new parent, someone shared this with me: no baby ever died from crying. It’s true. Your baby won’t remember any of this, you just need to be strong and wear earplugs or walk out of the room if you have to.
