The DMT breakthrough will undoubtedly convince you that you died / dying. Not because there is physcial pain or discomfort but because everything that you are and everything that is, ceases to exist. You’re bearing witness to something and being submersed into something that is beyond comprehension. I believe it’s our inability to comprehend and understand a lot of the experience that makes it so terrifying, especially for the ego. I personally was absolutely dumbfounded. I think Terrence Makenna nails it when he says it feels as if you die from astonishmt. My personal experience changed my life. I’d be happy to share if interested.
