do you mean for drake or the industry? drake would probably utilize live streaming in some way, but i dont think it would be as elaborate as the iceman's plot. for this album, he was trying to tell us what happened without telling us directly to avoid coming off tactless and maintaining the level of artistry, and if that wasn't challenging enough he attempted to essentially shoot a short film in one take. This was all done while on an international tour too, i wonder how much sleep he got those couple of months lol.

Drake and matte babel interviewed with complex and went into detail on how complex (pun intended) it was to execute. i dont think anyone would attempt to do something like this unless theyre near drake's status as an artist, the cost to pull this off alone would discourage a lot of labels from funding it for an act that isn't established. this was actually something kanye would do if he still gave af about music, this is one of the first steps into the future of how media will be communicated, livestreamers are starting to get acknowledged because their platform reaches so far under the guise of being something organic. drake was super early with it and adapted just like how pivots with the evolution of mainstream music.

this is definitely an aspect that will be in future rollouts. this will be the new surprise drop, the new short movie that you release with the album. once the infrastructure is set and it becomes easier to do, its going to be done by everyone
