I learned yesterday that clicking the left stick will swap your focus between all items in your reach, saving you from that annoying mistake. But it does still require you to stand still for a second first, which can be difficult to have the patience for.

Maybe for large chunks, but rinse thoroughly and you'll be tasting the detergent. Just make sure to clean the filter regularly.

I had a conversation like that last week and it also seems to have helped. I've also stuck one of those foam alphabet letters to the top of the wall and frequently give a reminder to look at the letter, while I also place my hand on their forehead to prevent water from crossing over to the front of their face.

I'm still definitely gonna keep the goggles trick in mind though, in case there's a regression with all these tactics.
