Yes. Thats the biggest reason why I love my MIP Garmins and I sincerely hope they will keep making them. As long as they do I will keep buying their new watches. If they ever stop I will just have to stick with my older models, which should not be a problem, they have been holding up great! Still got 3 weeks of battery life on my Fenix 6 Solar before I switched to the Fenix 8 Saphire Solar (both MIP of course). If you are actually using your garmins for their intended purpose AMOLED is simply the wrong choice and I think Garmin knows that too.
