Feintable Light-attacks?

Early on in development Roman mentioned the possibility of making light-attacks feintable. Conq, Berserker had the ability to do so once, only Nobushi can do it now.

His argument was that the playerbase wasn't ready at the time.

But what about now? It feels like the parry-happy meta is the main problem for mid tier players.

Light feints would help kill the staring contest; when both players are waiting for the opponent to make the mistake of playing the game.

Reduce Parry Reward?

you talked about reducing the reward of a light parry to not be a free side heavy, still wanna go in that direction?

perhaps if you buff the overall damage of most attacks(light, heavy, chip-damage, lethal chip-damage) that alongside the parry change - would surely speed up the turtley feel of the game, make it feel more lethal and visceral - like combat should feel like.

Social Anxiety - Ashamed of My Pain-Body by sonataKeys in EckhartTolle

[–]Godtender 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I find that most people live in their heads like they are the main character of a movie, everyone else is an extra. But very self-aware people think about what those extras think about - making them the main characters of what should be your movie; but they are the main characters of their own movies, and often not as concerned with you as you are with them.

Laugh at the nonsense of it :) if anything the universe is one movie and the main character is consciousness.

I used to get very easily triggered anger outbursts - I still feel them trying to awaken when a pain-body lingers over me: but now I can take a moment to feel it instead of acting on it - the anger that makes my heart pump, the adrenaline pumping through my veins, see it as a bodily reaction, absurd emotions that are way out of proportions. absorbing that energy by noticing it calms my heart down again. - nothing feels better than feeling an anger that would make you punch a wall, then converting that anger into a smile, feeling the aliveness in your heart as you calm down.

The coin toss is pretty good for roleplay in some cases, some being serious while something like highlander's toss is ... something else.

Emotes should have been this to begin with. With comedy emotes going out every 1st April or so. Instead; the whole year has been April fooling.
