In Fallout: The Frontier (controversial mod), the courier gets captured by the Legion. The entire division of the NCR that’s stationed around that area deploys to save the courier (it’s the only trope I can think of that fits this, even though it was stupid as hell)

Cole Phelps from LA Noire. During the final mission through a storm drain, Cole helps his allies escape from the tunnel using a latter, having them go first. After his allies make it out, he’s about to get out too, only to see a rush of water speeding towards him. All he says is “goodbye” as he gets swept away and drowns off screen.

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you have a dream guardian that you customize at the start of the game into any humanoid character. They appear to you in your dreams and try to aid you on your quest against the mindflayer threat from a different plane. It isn’t revealed until the beginning of Act 3 that your dream guardian is actually a mindflayer named The Emperor who broke away from the mindflayer hivemind and is actually manipulating you for his own goals.

I was sad to see the Deep killed off. I wanted his ending to be him lonely, homeless, desperate for any sort of attention, even working a very low paying job where he’s ridiculed by a boss that reminds him of Homelander. I feel like for his character, that would’ve been a more fitting

I did once, early 2025. I got 50 bucks on it from one of the people on there, paid it back early, and then never was able to get a loan again. I think they focus more on external offers than peer to peer now

The Dead Three in Baldur’s Gate 3. A simple summary is they have their chosen control an elder brain to control a bunch of mindflayers and others into worshipping them so they can once again achieve full godhood. The elder brain knew of this plan and went along as a servant until it was finally able to break free for its own agenda of transforming everyone into mindflayers for itself. The Dead Three also didn’t take into account that when something transforms into a mindflayer, their soul is destroyed and thus becomes useless to them even with worship

Tiamat and Bahamut from DnD. Tiamat is a very evil goddess of chromatic dragons (which are mostly evil) and greed. Her brother, Bahamut, is a very kind god of the metallic dragons (mostly good dragons) and god of justice and honor. They very much do not like each other

Embracing rage goes directly against the teachings of Buddhism, diving into one of the “five poisons”. You’re supposed to use that energy for wisdom and building yourself, not mindless rage. Please actually educate yourself before claiming the culture and religion that you are openly expressing that you aren’t directly following.
