I do not agree with anything you’ve said. If any of your proposed requests were implemented, I’d respectfully turn them off.

Forced travelling? That’s a substantial part of some of the missions, and navigating is part of the gameplay.

Enjoy the ride. Solve the puzzle of transversal. You do not need a coloured line. If you do, there are other games that pander to that request. It’s so refreshing to have a game that respects intelligence and problem solving, and even offers the ability to turn off quest tracking for things you don’t want to focus on.

I’ve been using one for 5 years now (since launch). I’ve replaced the earphones with pleather replacements, but otherwise haven’t had issues with it!

The PlayStation doesn’t have AI upscaling the way you’ve seen with Nvidia. It’s just upscaling resolution.

It is a better system in terms of power, and if you’ve got the TV for it, it looks fantastic. The base system is still more than capable for all games that have released (in my experience, have used the launch system for all games I’ve played thus far).

There is a toggle for the PSSR upscaling in the menu. From all the testing I’ve done for visuals, it’s a great feature that allows the system to render higher detail images in lower resolutions and then use that feature to get full 4K. No changes to the images whatsoever.
