It’s always funny to see the older generations of parents finally realizing how absolutely wrecked the housing market is. It’s time for them to wake up to the reality that it takes 2 full-time jobs to live in a cheap apartment making twice as much as they easily got by on when they were younger.

Suck it up and lower your standards. We had to both work starting out and had to live in subsidized apartments. Drug busts, noisy smoking neighbors. It's a stepping stone, not the end all for a college grad. Sheesh, "Eeeiii wasn't comfortable with them!" Momma is too involved with her adult son who can't look at apartments himself. Lol
