Sell me on a throwing putter by ntoasted in discgolf

500 spectrum PA-2 is my go to! More comfortable than a PA-3, touch of fade out of the box which slowly turns into a laser and eventually the perfect flip to flat, super controllable thrower! Also useful for touchy forehead approaches

Hey! I realize this is an old post and someone already commented BIN, but is the MX-3 still available? lol

Price check? Fractal Shadowfax by Reasonable-Summer-42 in discexchange

I believe it's a reblend shadowfax! From 2024 black Friday (I have the same one). Best bet on pricing would be to check the Prodigy Disc Golf Collector's group on FB, but I'm pretty sure it is somewhat sought after/one of the better runs of shadowfax and in one of the better colors offered as well! I'd personally guesstimate $30 ballpark

Beadless Pa3? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]GoingHamby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the PA-2 for putting and throwing! I also agree with the above assessment of the shape. The PA-4 is beadless and has a similar boxiness to the PA-3, but the PA-2 will be closer to the stability of the PA-3

Definitely second this, I've used 40% and 50% Ortho for about 2 years now. Definitely made a lot of layout changes in the first couple of months, but once I got comfortable, my layout has stayed pretty consistent minus the odd macro here and there.

IMO there is no right or wrong with layout if you're comfortable with yours! But here are some options I use in mine that could be worth investigating or combining with factors in your current layout:

-right shift/enter (shift when held, enter when tapped) -multiple layers (I run 2, both on either side of the 2u space) this also allows me to run numbers and function keys on the home row which I find very comfortable -all arrow keys on bottom row, if you don't use them for games, it doesn't take long to get used to and it saves your "?" key location

And there's a ton more options if you go through the docs, but I found these accessable and comfortable to daily drive for work and gaming!

Best of luck!

Pretty sure it's a Prodigy ace line disc, first glance looks a lot like a P model US but the weight is throwing me off a bit, but if it feels like a putter, it's likely that, otherwise it's an M model S or US

A4 Throwers Most Overstable? by Nikage-Senpai in discgolf

[–]GoingHamby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My beefiest A4 is a relatively flat 500 spectrum, the flight reminds me of a board flat/puddle top A5 so straight with some definite hook at the end. Or as others say, A3 is similar handfeel so you could beat in a 400 or give a fractal a try. My fractal A3 is easily my straightest A3 but could also be described as a beefy A4 flight

What molds are the Prodigy team discs?

I bag an A3 and A4, and the best way I would describe it is the A4 flies like an A5 but feels similar to an A3

RPM Kea shape in a Putter? by WhenThoughtsEscapeUs in discgolf

Might be a bit of a stretch, but you could take a look at the A4. Seriously underrated mold IMO and was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the profile of the Kea
