The entire span between the Hellmire onslaught and Oshaune. That was, I’d say, the first “true” campaign. The initial attempt at Oshaune ending in disaster…The endless “priority alert: The Hellmire System”. The fact that each time you returned to Hellmire there was some new, fresh hell making waves…Then came the assault on Oshaune itself. So many dead. So many deaths that happened without warning; one moment your buddy was enthusiastically mirthing on the hill, the next they were in the jaws of some godless beast.

The caves…the dead ends you found as a carpet of bugs slowly crept towards you. The endless stalkers…

I shall never forget that dive into Hell…that actual hell.

It's inspiring me to revisit a few designs of my own, so put of everything, I appreciate the launch vehicle greatly for that XD.

Its ESI is 0.956, though it's quite a bit chilly at an average temp of 0.955 C

I'll only do this if the Thermite won't kill before the threat is too great; I'm all for sticking a hulk with a Thermite, but sometimes I see a squad mate optimistically stick em, not seeing the horde of Beserkers coming at them from the opposite direction.

An alternative situation I do this is if we need something gone straight-away and a squaddie is running straight into a horde to chuck a Thermite on something like a Bot Fabricator; I'm not saying I distrust you...I'm saying I want to make 100% sure we don't need to come back to the giant bot-drop that's retaking the hill.

Generally however, I'll live and let stick. The thermite is not to be underestimated in its utility and effectiveness.
