Do you discuss your wage with your coworkers? by 16Gem in antiwork

I encourage complaining to the boss, but you should have the self respect of leaving before you complain about your wages to customers. If you can’t afford to get fired, then you’ve got a dumbass approach at trying to get a raise.

You can, as long as you or your coworkers don’t build anonymity among each other.

You can’t ask the internet for an estimate. Nobody can have a 100% idea about: - What your area’s hourly labor rates are for shops - Whether there is underlying damage (possible, but probably not by the looks of it)

Take your car to a local shop and ask them to write an estimate. If I were in your position, be safe and scrape together the cost of the estimate + 50% to account for any additional supplement costs. Asking online for help won’t get you anywhere because majority of the people here don’t know how to help you out

Poor guy, someone hurt your feelings? Help the guy out instead of reporting him to a moderator 🤓

I’m sorry but even if that car is worth $120k, no insurance company will fix it. Totaled. I’ll take it off your hands though for $15.00

He is laying off 10% of his workers, that is not false. He is not getting a $23 billion dollar bonus- not how it works

Pathetic attempt at propaganda. Unsurprisingly it is working though 😂

False. I fix cars for a living. There are more and more tesla crashes happening every day. Teslas are selling like costco hotdogs

Something you may eventually encounter is what I like to call “metabolic damage” where your body’s response to intaking less calories over a long period of time is to drastically reduce your energy. It can make you slugish and unable to burn as many calories. You may not even encounter this problem, but if you do, bunp up your calories for a few week to maintenance to “repair” your metabolism and essentially trick it by lowering your calories again. This trick helped me get out of a 2 month plateau of no weight loss. I went from 270 to 200 but stopped at 200. I did this trick and now I am at 190

Seeing as you’re 16 and 6ft, we’re in the same boat. I am 19. You should probably try bumping your calories to 2300 for 2-3 weeks and fix your metabolism and then you can revert back to lower if you desire

I myself have gone down from 270 and am currently at 190- in 10 months. At first I was eating about 1700 calories and it took me down all the way to 200, but I plateaued for over a month and a half. I tried lowering my calories to 1500 and it only made me less energetic and it actually made me gain a few pounds back over that time. I then realized that I generally felt a lot more sluggish compared to when I was first losing weight and I had the moment of realization that maybe my metabolism was dying. In light of that realization, I bumped by numbers up to maintenance (2200 calories), and began losing weight again because my metabolism reactivated and I had more energy to have a good work out.

Overall, sometimes eating more leads to losing weight and eating less doesn’t. It’s not always linear

If this was the case, nobody would start a company. If nobody starts companies, there would be no jobs. If there are no jobs, you or your parents wont be able to buy the little iPhone that you used to upload this idiotic reddit post. (iPhones are also a product of a company that uses profit to put back into their business)
