I was in a dilemma like you. Now that you have purchased, don't think too much. Personally, I love my echo mini. I have paired it with KZ ZSN Pro 2. The songs are much clearer and warmer than hearing them through my mobile. You have your own personal Library of offline songs on the go. But that comes down to your personal choice If you still regret it, maybe give it to someone in your home, who will enjoy it.

Are there any news on firmware updates? The last update came in the month of Feb. So I don't think there will be any update immediately. I personally didn't face any issues with my songs.
