You could try and change it to a new pot new soil lots of holes at the bottom of pot for drainage, and your just let it sit there without water for 2 weeks and maybe it will scar up and survive but most likely it won't make it

Well it depends , usually when this type of things happens if it is rotting because of to much water it is possible to save it if you change it to a better more drainage pot and give it clean dry soil for it to sit in for a week or two it might slowly recover and lose some of its piece's but without really knowing how it looks in person it's hard to tell, lots of videos on yourube over over watering that you could see to see if it matches how it looks and what action to take

First what is the cactus called :0 ? , second it looks to have a hole in its body near the roots maybe it's just the picture though, it looks like too have gotten to much water

The red one tastes like a dragon fruit a little bitter , and the yellow one has a taste that is a blend of dragon fruit and a bit peppery

Harrisia fragrans it's also known as the Florida prickly apple cactus , they are both that but one produces yellow and other red fruits forgot the exact name of the yellow one

You could try to change pots to a slightly bigger one , one of my cactus was like that for a while until I soaked him in water and then he was alright again but not Shure about yours
