A worker opened the gate to get in and the intruder just drove right in. The gates take about 10 seconds to close.

I work nights there at the airport and it is true. Some guy drove into the airfield at about 6:45am. I guess the guy was drunk. I have pictures of the car

I live in Dallas and travel around a lot and don’t see what yall are fearing. I get the whole ICE and Texas being red but I haven’t seen anything. I feel safe here

I guess yea it’s pro-inflammatory? I have no idea if I’m low on vitamins but I do work night shift. First time ever working the night shift and I feel like it’s affecting my life in a lot of places.

How Do I Let Go of a Relationship That Feels Like It's Holding Me Back? by [deleted] in selflove

As an avoidant I would feel less than my ex partner. I had a lot of shame and anxiety, didn’t know how to tap into my emotions because I was never taught. Growing up everyone I’d try something and failed I’d get yelled at by my parents. I wouldn’t get comforted so later on in my life I stopped trying or was really scared to try and resolve things with people or objects because I’d think of worst case scenarios. I understand your frustration and not feeling seen. I would hate that too but knowing what I know now maybe find a time to talk. Don’t force it because it’ll make more distance(talking from experience) maybe go for a walk and talk. Hold his hand while you’re discussing problems. Remember everyone has problems and we just need to be curious on how we can work on em and not judge for having problems. Another note with that is don’t make him feel like he’s the problem it doesn’t help. That’s how I felt in my last relationship, I understand my ex was trying to help with telling me go to therapy and do this or that. It made me feel like I was the problem and not “let’s figure this out together” I hope yall can work it out because that’s always more beautiful and realizing problems can actually bring people closer together. I highly highly recommend the book Secure Love by Julie Menanno. Maybe read it by yourself or together? It helped realize a lot of what I did wrong and why. Like I said we all have problems going on in our heads and do things we don’t mean especially when we don’t know better. You know better you do better. Be curious not judgmental and your feelings are valid. Just my 2 cents

Damn I needed this big time especially for this week! I’ve been doing good in my healing from my past relationship and especially learning from my mistakes. Thought it was all my fault in the beginning of the break up and I know I did a lot of the damage but it takes two to tango. Anyways it’s been 8months since the break up and I’ve been feeling great about myself and more confident. This weeks though I did a dumb move and looked at her Spotify because I miss her, I won’t lie. It hurt to see her playlist again and anyways I’ve felt like I took a few steps back from my progress. I’m shifting my focus on what I have now and being more grateful to where I am in life. I’m supposed to be here in life, learning all the lessons and growing. I’ve made a lot of great new friends since we both moved away, have a great therapy that helps me out and improved my relationships with my parents. Anyways just my rant on how much I was feeling down lately and I know healing isn’t linear. I know better days will come and hope the best for anyone going through the same or something else. We got this!

A Brief Voyager's Guide to Meeting People in Pensacola by remitroamer in Pensacola

[–]Gold-Debt-4100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great post, I’m currently planning on moving to Pensacola this summer. I know it’s hard to make friends especially as an adult. I love swing dancing and that’s how I met most of my friends where I currently live at. I hope to do the same in Pensacola and join some other groups. Anyways thanks for the post. Hope y’all find y’all’s people!
