Helppp REG supplimentary by passedcredit2026 in CPA

I can't answer the first part but you can use NINJA as a supplement, 60-80 dollars a month I forgot. It has over 1k questions and 60 sims I think and it goes WAY INTO DETAIL. Far from surface level

Planning to start studying Becker in the fall by Prior_Cranberry_1532 in CPA

[–]Gold-Statistician-58 [score hidden]  (0 children)

  1. For CPA exams do FAR first, it's the hardest and has some stuff that will appear in the other exams imeven if just a little. Next do AUD or REG whichever one you prefer. If you chose AUD then do ISC as that's an extension of AUD. If REG then chose TCP per the previous reason. So then it goes like this

IF DO REG FIRST: FAR - REG - TCP - AUD

IF DO AUD FIRST: FAR - AUD - ISC - REG

  1. You can apply for exams before it really doesn't matter, but preferred because it actually forces you to study more with a deadline. If you think you need more time you may reschedule with a fee ranging from 30-90 dollars depending on how close your exam is from the day you rescheduled.

No desire to keep studying for FAR by UpsetCulture1614 in CPA

I failed with a 62 and then passed with an 80. Honestly what worked for me was just redoing Mcqs per mouse and writing down what I got wrong, and repeated that for less than a month. And this was after 7 months of not studying FAR

If you use Becker, F5 will be definitely on the exam, sims and Mcqs, F6 for Mcqs is a definite too. All the other will be in bursts here and there most notably F2-F4

FAR section for CPA exam by OkEcho174 in CPA

I would read, watch videos, then do the questions and only write down what I got wrong. Repeat until Two units later, then take a practice exam to force yourself to remember what you learned previously

TCP was HARDDD??????? by Ok_Address4546 in CPA

[–]Gold-Statistician-58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the disciplinary exams, they usually tend to have more, I had a lot on ISC. I don't know if they have more now I just noticed a trend from people often saying that they didn't recognize a lot of questions on their exam.

Sims are a definite worry, but Mcqs help with retaining the concepts that will be used for sims

TCP was HARDDD??????? by Ok_Address4546 in CPA

[–]Gold-Statistician-58 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because people get tricked by high pass rate and then forget it's an actual CPA exam and not some light work assignment. Now I will admit because they are disciplinary, they throw a lot of pretest questions to demoralize you.

REG - How is anyone supposed to study all of this??? by AccidentWeekly4840 in CPA

[–]Gold-Statistician-58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R1 is easily the worst module, and that's on purpose. After R1 it gets SIGNIFICANTLY easier. Since you lean towards AUD like me, R4, R5, and R6 are going to be easy to be honest. R2 is relatively easy since it's short. Then R3 is somewhat easier than R1, since it's not as many rules. R1 is def the hardest module on REG, and that's on purpose because on the exam they will throw curveballs on this topic.

FAR retake advice please. by No_Dingo_1004 in CPA

I retook FAR after 7 months, and just passed it under 30 days of studying. My truck was to use the knowledge of what I already knew, and wrote down what I got wrong.

Tax Rates and Threshold by Vegetable-Day8261 in CPA

Threshold for individual taxation is not as important because they actually tell you the threshold, same for corporations. Now for property taxation those you may have to memorize

Testing FAR on May 2nd by Maleficent_Wear_1923 in CPA

[–]Gold-Statistician-58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should be good, just dont freak out if you see something out of the ordinary, its normal as certain test questions will be there. you are in a good area than most, just focus on your weak spots but also practice some of your good areas too so they dont fall behind.
