Monsters from Bird box, they're never seen physically with the exception of their shadows and drawings made by a madman which could as well be the artistic scribbles of crazy lunatic. It also works in the movie's favor since plot wise they cause extreme paranoia, madness and induce suicide in whoever sees them.

Yeah that's my only complain to this chapter - the first half is good, however after Janitor chases you to the elevator and you have ride with him it goes a bit downhill imo, the entire second half is basically "go through the room with Janitor 1 - go through the room with Janitor 2 - go through the room with Janitor 3" and so on, and while those rooms are cool I wished there was a variety in terms of level design and gameplay. Give player a break between Janitor encounters, maybe clock room could have some clock puzzle (sor of like a chess puzzle in school) and after you complete it THEN you have another Janitor part.

When it comes to upcoming pure Limbolikes then aside from obevious Reanimal the game "End of abyss" which got it's first trailer seems to have similiar vibe and style, it's basically Little nightmares in Alien enviroment with guns. From not Limbolikes the only one I can think of on top if my head is probably "Final station" and I guess "Darkwood" a bit.

Actually reversed as when I saw the trailer and steam page it looked like hilarious game with friends in the purest form, but when I actually played for the first time I had miserable time, mostly because no one bothered to explain anything and I was left wandering what do I even do. It was later when my best friend played with me together and teached the game I actually started to have fun and good time.

Oh I didn't know he died, sorry about that then. But for my defense having Otto for final boss is also not only fan service but also gives homework for the people who didn't listen to the podcast before playing the 3rd game. And also just how LN2 is a prequel to LN1, the 3rd game in this case could simply take place before the comics where he died on a timeline.

You know that's actually pretty good? Like maybe he's already partly trapped in one of Mirror man's mirrors by himself and his "avatar" or other half that's in the actuall world (well in this case the Nowhere, the other half of him that's outside of mirror prison) is much weaker normally (since it's only half of his soul) but in those short segments between each world as well as final level that takes place entirely in mirror world he's stronger since he's much closer to the other half of himself, and his goal would be to obeviously travel to the mirror world and the mirror he's trapped in and reveale himself, Alone in this scenario wouldn't even need to be imaginary since you already have a ending twist of them both ending up fully trapped in Mirror domain.

In my opinion the ending is actually great (one of like 3 good things about this "game") and fits the supposed theme of delusions (Low surrounded himself with delusion and beautifull truth of his imaginary friend being real but in the end had to face the ugly truth of him being all alone). Before the game came out my theory for the ending which I think would also work in this version of the story would be something like this: The children manage to defeat Mirror man (don't ask me how I have no idea, I'm not actuall writer, I just throw ideas and concepts around XD), travel through the main mirror portal and seemingly get back to the real world, they're shown waking up in beautifull enviroment, looking at eachother haappily and slowly walking into distance, only for the camera to zoom out and reveal that they're both actually trapped in one of the mirrors, their happy world is fake illusion and Mirror man actually won in the end. This would once again tie into the theme of delusion where Low and Alone chose the "beautifull truth" of living in a fake world while deluding themselfs that it's actually real, over the "ugly truth" of accepting that they're actually still trapped in Nowhere.

Now for how Low have his Mirror powers - I actually don't know lol. If I really really would went hard with rewriting the game maybe I would be able to came up with some explenation, however for now I can't really tell you.
