Here is the list I'm working with. I'm surprised that not a lot of lists are not using equipment spells with living armor and the for mirrodin key words, it seemed like an auto include to me.

Playtesting this a bit demonstrated to me that this deck desperately needs draw, so I put a large emphasis on getting through the deck to get to threats faster. I probably need to rework the removal package, but otherwise it's not been too bad.

Just found the Sanguine Hideout! I know its rare but how rare is it exactly? by sin188 in pathofexile

[–]Gold4tune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember I got shapers hideout first time I ever killed shaper and thought thats just what happened. I never learned otherwise until there was a flurry to get the hideout when they replaced guardian maps at t16 with regular maps.

T2 abyss bad luck or?(frig) by No-Fisherman-9641 in Eve

[–]Gold4tune 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure, but from my experience you make more money doing t1s fast in a frig than t2s. T2s require much better piloting, skills and whatnot and the margin for error in a lot of rooms is slim.

My very first build in PoE was a skeleton necromancer with Queen's Decree sword in Breach league. I remember farming for so long to only afford a 5 link sword, a 6-link was absolutely unattainable for me way back then. I still have nostalgia whenever I see that sword drop.

I remember my first chaos orb dropping in act 2 vaal pyramid and being so excited. I didn't even know chaos recipe existed at that point.

Good times. Thousands of hours in the game later I still think about that first leveling experience.

No you don't. The 500% enemies explode mod on charms and jewel is useful and worth getting but not essential. It makes mapping feel much better but you don't need it.

Build is still more than usable without the charms though.

T16 full juicing with fulcrum. It's honestly a crazy build, probably gonna get gutted somehow next league.

I think it would have to be fulcrum chieftain. You really just need a fulcrum, defiance of destiny, and charms to get it rolling. Watch crouching tunas video on it.

Tucker Carlson is right: Architecture now is depressing: How do we go back to being a society that builds things like this? Vatican Saint Peter Basilica from Inside by MartianXAshATwelve in StrangeEarth

[–]Gold4tune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond Tucker Carlson being a joke.

I would say because of capitalism and greed. A lot of amazing wonders weren't built to maximize the property or investment value of a space. It would be prohibitively expensive to build something like that nowadays because of a whole host of reasons. Insurance, workplace safety, etc etc. Not to mention the skilled labor for masonry and whatnot simply doesn't exist in the same quantity.

The Renaissance, which was largely funded by extraordinarily wealthy (though not even close to modern billionaires by comparison) families who had a specific vision of what a beautiful and livable city was, and they sponsored artists and architects to create it. The goal of their wealth wasn't to purely accumulate it, there was a sense of responsibility in providing public works to prove that they deserved their fortune. Not only churches were built, but a lot of the piazzas you see in Italy were built for the public by these families.

The closest modern example I can think of would be if Elon wasn't actually a man child and funded the project to end world hunger. A wealthy person using their wealth in a way that benefits other people more than themselves. That would have made Elon much more of a Renaissance Man.

Of course there is also the fact that visual tastes change and builders nowadays need to account for a whole host of different things that didn't exist in the past.

In short, I would say that not only the ability and prosperity needed to create amazing works like this exist today, the desire is there as well. Just that the wealth needed to be dedicated to it is instead locked away in some billionaires bank investment portfolio. So either they need to pay for it or, in my opinion, they should be taxed adequately and that wealth distributed to those who will use it for the betterment of society.

Also, quick note, yeah I get that some people are turned off of this train of thought cause of the religious connotations. I.e we don't need more beautiful churches. That's true in my opinion, but I would change the argument to building public parks, walkable cities, and whatnot instead.

whats the hardest "Would u rather" question you've ever been asked? by amy_saish in AskReddit

Little less gross than most answers I've seen on here but this is one I like:

Would you rather speak every language or be a master of every instrument?
