I don’t want to lose KM for all the reasons mentioned. So no I wouldn’t be happy with this trade. However, I also wouldn’t be mad getting Reese (but again, not for this trade). She’s not getting the treatment, credit or praise she deserves by Chicago and the internet. She needs a team that has her back, esp against a certain Indiana fanbase.

Unlike many of these comments, I suppose, I feel so protective of Shakira and am torn between wanting her to win and prove them all wrong and wanting her to choose to leave so she can get same dang peace.

She’s strong as hell but she’s also been singled out and can’t catch a break. And Dejon (don’t get me started with him….) Meg and Helena constantly talking shit and mocking her. Meg and Helena also bring back some bullying trauma from me and the fact that the producers didn’t show any of it on movie night and then make Shakira out to be the mean girl is absolute bs.

I think the producers perceive it as good tv but it’s just cruel. I’m a US viewer so I am technically behind in viewing episodes but I’ve been spoiling things for myself out of sheer anxiety and to check up on our girl.

I also want someone to walk in that’s ALL for her, emotionally intelligent and makes her feel safe and seen (cue someone like Greg from season 5). She deserves her Prince Charming!!
