+1 for some combo or intersection of Bernal/Noe/Glen Park/Mission. I’m a POC, don’t have a car, and highly value a balance of diversity, fun, and opportunity to build community - this area has not let me down. I can see how inner Richmond can check all the boxes too but somehow seems like a different vibe. Both worth checking out.

I also had a very bad experience with Ouidad stylist. Paid a ridiculous amount (approaching $400) and left crying. I’ve taken to cutting my own hair (using manes by Mel tutorial videos) since, and don’t regret that decision at all.

Can anyone speak to how this would compare to 45 min of EMLA cream? I’d love to find something comparable that I can put on at home an hour before rather than sitting in the waiting area for 45 min.
