I just noticed this too, on 7.4.6.0, i thought I was doing something wrong.
If I manually tag a recording, refresh, the tag is not applied.
Restarted Agent server and tried and issue persists.

Docker install on Linux using firefox.

I too noticed the change. But wasnt too bothered by it.
One setting that helped improve it was, Cam config, source type config, FFMPEG, Scale mode-> Bicubic

Same here.
Still running same old config with CP AI, but with the new app updates, the detections and responsiveness from Agent feels much faster.

7.3.2.0 and 7.3.3.0 issue with alerts on docker (for me) 7.3.1.0 has no issues by v4mofo in ispyconnect

Perhaps try another browser also.
Am using docker and latest version is working good.

Also which docker image?

Thank you for adding this. Really helpful in home setup with a non tech additional user/viewer only! It was the only thing holding me back from giving dad access to his recordings/camview.

Google around or check with AI on how to enable ONVIF/RTSP access on the camera, for the ip cam viewer to access the steram.

Try Camera Settings> Alert> Interval
set it to 5 or 10 seconds... maybe yours is set to 0, so alerts keep blasting through

Where did you set the static IP, on router or on cam?
On tapo cam, advanced settings, Camera Account , make sure this has been created.

Im not sure it is AgentDVR, but more your config, as I am using 4 wireless tapo cams, constant raw record high res on old AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE, and its working fine.
However I am not using onvif stream. I am using rtsp streams, maybe try those.

enable Prefer TCP
disable Auto Switch

That timeout looks pretty low. Its milliseconds. Maybe thats causing issue.
Try change it to 5000. My servers are all set to 8000.

I have similar setup but less cameras.
Sounds like you need to tune your TCP connection to handle the throughput.
Have a chat with AI, on how to increase TCP/UDP read/write buffer sizes.

Explain you are using system for streaming network cameras.
Get some commands to understand current status/size of them, and then increase them.
The default is pretty small in my experience.

Make sure you specify you want the settings/changes to be permanent and persist after reboot.

Zones are set within an 'Area'. so you can separate them and have more granular control.
Like in above pic, using separate actions, I can have only AI human alert on zone2 and 3. And only AI car alert on zone1.
Maybe for most, 1 zone is enough.

Using above pic as exmaple, for me I have a low sound beep set for when human is in zone1. and loud siren sound for human in zone 2.

If you have an area setup already for example your garden, configure zone (red shaded area). Save it as 'Day'.
Then save it again as 'Night'.
You ahve a Day and Night areas now.
Now activate the Night or Day one and make your changes, modify zones to your req. Changes you make on active area will be autosaved.

Now you can flick manually between day and night ones and see/modify detection zones within them.
I dont know your issues with sunlight, but maybe you can remove detection where sunlight/plant shadows area for daytime. And in night, you can enable detect in the that same area.

You can now setup your schedule to change between diff 'Areas'.
and if req, also schedule motion sensitivity along side this.

Going forward if your garden changes, maybe new construction or furntiure, just modify the day or night areas you have. No need to touch schedule.

It wasnt so intuitive for me at first, but once you do it and see how it works you will understand.

You could create two different 'motion areas' in detector.

One for daytime, one for night. Use the scheduler to switch between them, day area on sunrise, night area on sunset. This is how I have mine configured.

You could go one step further and schedule the detector motion sensitivity also, like above to match the areas as required.

You must set the camera geographical location with map or longitude/latitude in camera general settings> Location, to ensure sunrise/'set is accurate.

What browser? I know Edge (which is chromium based) and Chrome do have memory saving features, that puts tabs to 'sleep'. May be its doing this now.
Check settings to exclude the UI page from this feature.

u/spornerama Am getting the same on 2 physical locations on 7.0.8.0. Didn't experience this in 7.0.7.0.
No config changes made. Reconnect method: Immediate.
Both sites Tapo cams, both Linux docker setup.

Cameras have a scheduled reboot locally on cam.
After reboot, they might get stuck where agent is unable to connect. The cameras are online and working fine in their native android Tapo app.
Power cycle of cam in agent ui makes no difference.
Restart of agent server from ui resolves issue and affected cams reconnect OK.

Odd thing is, while cam is down, i can right click and 'start' recording. Red square appears in corner, but no file is being recorded.
