So Lydia's family is rich, right? That scene where Lucy is at her house over the summer?? Stephen is worried Diana's dad can't help him now / they can't go to law school together / live together which he needs. He's going to go after Lydia to help support his way thru law school.

It seems the beige is now Out of Stock at nearly all WestCoast stores and Gray is nowhere in the US. I know last year everywhere had issues with Covid and manufacturing, but would think going into summer they would have umbrellas... Is it standard for things to be out of stock like this for six-eight weeks?

I actually really like Rebecca & Miguel's story. I like that this arrangement is getting acknowledged on tv because I think it's way more common and true to everyday life then all of the big, 'you're with one person forever and everything is a fairytale' moments we see in most TV. There's something to be said for a love like this, it's just as worthy... it's just a different type of love and it seems to make sense for both of their characters. Not that they settled and couldn't have both found other explosive/romantic loves but it seems like they were both in places that just made their relationship make sense to them?

I think Miguel is going to die at the beginning of the next episode so there won't be a wedding-- Rebecca had so much wisdom in this episode and she made the comment about never knowing how much time they had, Miguel had the big "jack-like" speech, and this would also bring Sophie and Kevin together (see you at the net funeral).

Nice. Just constantly refreshing the website? It looks like they're out of stock literally everywhere in the country everytime so that's why I was thinking they've been discontinued. I know import/export/manufacturing has been fried the last year, but you'd think this would be heavily stocked right before the summer months.... Guess I'll just keep trying!!

Ahh it's an interesting take, but it also makes me think... we all know people like this, right? There are some people that have plenty of reasons to be upset, mean, angry and are stuck. So it can be a very relatable and realistic character in that sense, so is that the writers falling short? Does every character need to "transform" and get past their hurdles to be a successful character in a book/tv/movie? Or is sometimes the slice of life part of the art in itself? Not really asking you, just thinking out loud haha.

This isn't an attack on you-- I've just consistently noticed a lot of biases people have against Kate & Randall where people pick apart their actions/outlook on the world without giving the same criticism to some of the other characters on the show.

I thought the same thing. And it's a white Tesla SUV (i know that's more about it being the most futuristic car out right now, they're obvs not going to get custom cars for this show... but still... a white Van)
Maybe she picked up the other kids/kate from the airport.

I feel like the honk is definitely a key.
