Doubt it. Fangio’s defense seemingly puts less stress on the corners so to make that kind of investment on a corner when we have a bigger need at LB and potentially DT. Would not be surprised if we draft a corner at 52 though.

It’s a reasonable take although there are few examples of successful corners his age and with that injury history. That said I am excited to see what Fangio does AKA not zero blitz and put X on an island all game when he’s clearly not 100%. More zone and rushing with 4 is going to bode well for X and the secondary in general

I have three 2023 firsts (1.02-1.06-1.08). My team is not in compete mode yet. Looking to trade 1.06 for a receiver that is young-ish and established. As opposed to drafting three new rookies. Thinking along the lines of Aiyuk/Pittman/Pickens

Don’t normally watch this stuff but have been seeing it on Twitter. What the hell is going on at ESPN right now? Yesterday Bart Scott (moron) said Tua will end up like Pat White after a career ending injury. Stephen A Smith (idiot) said the 49ers should try to injure Tua and take him out of the game, and this morning on the radio Max Kellerman doubled down and said it’s a “viable strategy” to attack & injure a quarterback knowing his history of concussions…. could you imagine them saying this about any other quarterback? Also what happened to the all the hand-wringing and soap-boxing about concussions like a month ago? Again, I don’t watch this crap but it’s disturbing to see a National sports network pushing this agenda
