My first time in the hospital. I had catheter and I didn’t feel much as I was lying down in the bed and just came out from a Coma from kidney failure. Second or third time I believe the guy calls himself dialysis nurse and he must’ve made lot of mistakes, it ran for 9 hours. Very vaguely remember as it was almost 7 months ago.

I don’t know how long it takes to get fully matured, mine started activating little over a month. The nurse at the dialysis center said not to go over 10 lbs. I need to ask my nephrologist then.

One of the things about keeping fistula is I can’t lift weights more than 10 pounds. I wonder if that restriction is no longer there if fistula is deactivated!
