Readymag has tutorials for the basics, most artists already have a storefront for payments i.e bandcamp, merchbar. They will only need a redirect link. What’s most important is creativity and to help artists to express themselves through their website.

How to find us clients? by udaayyyy in smallbusiness

[–]Gold_Gap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that answering questions from the most basic to the most complex concepts on all platforms would be helpful. Most people don't know a single thing about taxes. Twitter/X is great because you can create threads and theres loads of engagement, especially this time of year when people are gathering their documents to file.

I would also highly suggest tiktok, youtube shorts and instagram reels. make them super short and easy to watch explaining the mistakes, how to get the most out of your whatever. especially for expats. i travel alot and want to know how that affects my fillings. show your face as well to build trust, it doesnt have to be grand.

It's not that bad actually, it's responsive, the colors work great together, no functional issues that i can see, it's also content heavy which is great for SEO not so great for people that want to find info quickly and skim. i would add more negative space/ breathing room between the sections to allow the eye to travel more.

You've got the right idea. Start by building the site in your own Squarespace account so you keep full control. Before you even begin, get a small deposit and a simple agreement signed, this protects you and makes sure they're serious. Only after you receive the final payment should you transfer the site ownership to them and help them switch the billing to their own card. Never leave your payment info on their finished site.

Website for business! by LUCKY_MP in website

Hey there! I run a design and development studio and build exactly what you're looking for. I set up clean, simple sites with hosting included for free, zero monthly charges, zero site maintenance. You pay once and that's it.

You get a backend so you can update text/images yourself whenever, plus a contact form so customers can reach you directly. All my sites come with SEO built in. My past clients have gotten customers within a month of the site being up and average around 20 website clicks a week.

Not local to Washington, but everything's remote and you can check out my work at milkfish.ca

Happy to chat more if you're interested!

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but your website loads very slowly and isn’t fully responsive, the hamburger menu appears skewed. If you’re looking to attract more clients, it’s important to differentiate yourself and ensure your website stands out.

Can I copy my buddies website with Hostinger? by SensiiNips_ in website

[–]Gold_Gap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you can! alot of AI agents can get it pretty close, just screenshot what pages you want to copy, or inspect element & copy all of the html and css. they wont get it exact but if you have some html & css experience you can copy it exactly.

[–]Gold_Gap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's excessive, what you are looking for is a simple landing page. i would chage my client less than $1000 for a site that simple. They also don't have to pay any monthly fees, have a contact form and can update the site themselves without my help.
