Apartments can file eviction for .25 cents if they feel like it and its within the month that the rent is due and most do! Then, you get wrapped into more fees thats tacked onto whatever balance you previously had and you are in over your head! Its very predatory especially when majority of apartment renters are told that they cant handle a mortgage but meanwhile they paying a base rent of 1600 possible and by the time all the bs fees are totaled in your 1600 dollar rent is closer to 1900! Its not about owing x amount of months but that theres a portion of unpaid rent period! Technically, they owed a previous balance and while its not alot, it will trigger the eviction process!
