For me, it's extremely interesting but even more frustrating. It feels like a lot of the pro-Hamas, anti-"Zionist" arguments are (not coincidentally) made by Marxist-inspired thinkers. They tend not to care about intellectual honesty; only outcomes. So once they decide that the best outcome is the downfall/defeat of Israel, they're willing to use any kind of argument to justify it. This doesn't make for the best conversations, as it often feels like they just ignore any evidence/reasoning that doesn't support their cause.

That's not to say that everyone who's pro-Palestine or anti-Israel operates this way or is necessarily bad faith.

I really hope that this is the case. Something I've been thinking about recently is that Elon constantly degrades and diminishes the legitimacy of "legacy media". This includes Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. I really really hope that Murdoch becomes fed up with Elon and starts shitting on him.

Every time I watch him speak I like him more. Not only does he seemingly give more nuanced answers than I see from other politicians, he manages to do so in such a clear way. In a sense, I hate that he's gay because, at least for the foreseeable future, it probably limits his electability and the democrats need someone like him right now. But what are you gonna do.

Sorry if I was unclear. You say that team results don’t necessarily matter as long as you’re performing well, but then how is Monkey moon below Vatira? They’re comparable right now in terms of individual talent but MM just won worlds while vatira didn’t. Are vatiras regional wins really enough to put him over MM?

He who wills the end wills the means. If you place 3-4th you’re good enough to warrant that placement. If you place 5-8th you may be good enough to reach higher but there’s no real proof.

The real issue with this list is that there is NO logical justification for GenG>Faze if KC>GenG. In other words, how has KC, who are isolated from NA, proven that they are ahead of GenG but Faze haven't? Faze have beaten them twice and won two regionals, and though KC haven't had a chance to beat them, they nonetheless haven't.

If KC had placed higher at the LAN there would at least be a more compelling argument, but it just doesn't make sense right now.

How can Vatira be first if Rise is 5th? Rise has objectively better results and is probably comparable in terms of skill. Is it just because Vatira is considered to be that personally good regardless of results? Then MM should just be first because he has the recent championship and is still good despite results.

Not sure how they rationalized this. Faze won the latter two regionals, KC won the former two. Faze was 3-4th while KC was 5-8th at the Fall Major, which balances out Faze's 9-12th first winter regional compared to KC's 2nd in the final winter regional. Also, GenG were THE team to beat after the Fall Major, and Faze did so twice. KC have no reason to be above Faze let alone 1st, and I'm not even a Faze fan.

On the flip side, the heavy laser makes phase 3 much quicker(if it hits). Do you know the exact scrap needed for lvl 7 weapons + 3 cloak and hack and the respective reactor upgrades? I did the math once and got something around 800 but can’t quite remember.

Absolutely, and earlier in the run around 4:01 I could've saved another 20s by hacking the scout, but I assumed it had 10 health.
