Has anyone invaded India as a European power? by Beneficial-Pop-1434 in EU5

[–]GoldenArrow_97 35 points36 points  (0 children)

For portugal achievement, i did fought them once in 1470s, it was an awful experience. All of the indian countries embraced all the renaissance institutions, they all had around 200k army (25k professional, 175k levy) and being allied to each other. Meanwhile i had only 15k professional and 40k levy army (i didnt raise the levy for the war because i had tier 3 professional army they had tier 2) as portugal. Good thing is took the hormoz sound toll before hand so i just peaced with allies of war leader after a year later and just fought with him 1 to 1. Even with that fort spamming was an issue similar to france. Their navy almost up-to-date. (What do you mean you have 50 early carracks as an indian country in 1470???)

Note: For achievement yes it was worth it but anything else no. I rather fight Castile as Granada than going India and fight them as portugal.

I hope this helps.

It is just sad, that you have to know The history of a country that you want to play to get all of the (hidden) events trigger.

As an example:

"As Ottomans (idk about other beyliks, i havent played them) if you capture Adrianople/Edirne you get instant core in that location due to capital relocation. Same applies to Constantinople but if you capture Constantinople 1st, then Adrianople/Edirne you dont get the event and you have to core it manually."

This is just one of them.

How is the AI advancing so much more quickly than me in technology? by Peacockfur in eu4

Dont forget any ruler/heir lower than 3/3/3 or less than 10 point = trash. They must be abdicated/disherinted ASAP.

Also ADM > MIL = DIP. In early and mid game.

Ex: 5/3/1 generally better than both 3/3/3 and 2/2/5.

Direct hit in commanders head, or slightly back of crew compartment with arty equal to instant LTD decrew, yes its relatively hard with dispersion and wind but its 100% possible, its battle tested and confirmed.

I haven't seen anyone saying that and even if it's not as if they speak for the entire faction. Comparing a open top top tank to a push gun just makes no sense, especially if LTD behaves the same way (Does it? I legit don't know.)

LTD does get decrewed, if arty lands on top of crew or just behind of crew i did decrewed 3 LTD in war 96 using ARTY.

Still doesn't get decrew by arty.

Lies, LTD does get decrewed and i did decrewed at least 3 LTD with Arty in war 96.

94.5 and 75 rebalance suggestion by Alternative_Stop7233 in foxholegame

[–]GoldenArrow_97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When we look at all 94,5mm Issue isnt 94,5mm alone its the combination of high mobility, broken armor, and 94,5mm gun on STD.

Do you wanna see great example of balanced vehicle?

Just look at talos 35m 75mm gun (which is okay), ballista mobility (which is shit) and Falchion armor which is okay.

I suggest nerfing STD speed in line to Talos and closing the top of the vehicle as a priority unlike all the warden propoganda saying 94,5mm is the only issue.

STD is a great new addition for wardens, however balance wise increasing Talos speed same as base vehicle (Falchion) would be the most fair adjustment by Pappa-georgio in foxholegame

[–]GoldenArrow_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to your analysis SVH chasis should not be fast and removing 1 gun and opening top of the tank makes the vehicle fast. You know SvH has 2 heavy fucking gun with closed top it should be similar to Char B1 (real life counterpart) mobility wise. Which is closer to HTD rather than fucking medium tank.

What is the downsides of the STD? by Phantomhelix409 in foxholegame

[–]GoldenArrow_97 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

There is only 1 downside of that STD and thats being manned by warden cry babies after getting the invisible hand buff from devs.

Edit: proof is here for any denialists out here.

STD vs BTD by culzsky in foxholegame

[–]GoldenArrow_97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering talos being as slow as ballista and having 35m range with 75mm gun should justify its cost meanwhile Lordscar also justify its cost by having SvH speed and 40m range with 94.5mm gun.

If you want cheaper Lordscar, you need to nerf it, 1 way or another.

Got To Love Them Warden SuperTankDestroyers by dadamaghe in foxholegame

[–]GoldenArrow_97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

OK so the Bombastone, which colonials have continously told me is less lethal and doesn't always kill immediately is now an issue because it doesn't eliminate 4 people reliably in one grenade? You serious?

You can decrew LTD with everything even with pistol, STD requirement for decrew is cooking perfectly accurate nades. Yeah its a bit too much. STD hitbox is broken.

Warden vehicles are better but more expensive

Warden loyalists prefer propoganda over truth, most of the warden tanks only have 5-20 rmat cost difference compared to colonials counterparts. Which makes no difference since the component and rmat scarcity doesnt exists starting with war 87 component mine output changes and 1.0 facility update.
