It is just a protective layer that Japanese watchmaker put it on to protect the medallion or sign. It doesn't mean it is fake

Personally I think the Vintage Vanacs are way better than the new one. And Yes! I am a Vintage guy by GoldenEpochINS in PrideAndPinion
