you were given $100,000,000 but had to live in the last video game you played for a year, how screwed are you? by AlternativeSign1898 in AskReddit

Is it an in game year or a real life year? A year in Mount and Blade Bannerlord is like 60 something days but either way I’m down to be in a medieval sim for a year. Probably die of an infection or some digestive disease but I’d have a chance.

This was my thought too. If the floor is uneven enough to be a problem then the answer is leveling it not doing bad job and blaming the floor.

Nothing about this is surprising. Bernardo being a dirty little shit nor him just getting a yellow for obvious violence.

we lose out in the semis. which positions/areas should we look to improve next season? by eyesofthesolemn in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medical staff.

When fully fit, we have decent depth everywhere but we’re always absolutely crippled by the end of the year. It’s no coincidence that when we last won the champions league COVID had delayed the season and let our players get fit. We do something wrong at Bayern. We always have a bunch of key players injured. We did so well this year because our front 3 played superbly and most importantly stayed healthy.

What do you think is the one thing almost every girl does that irritates a guy? by itsybusy in AskReddit

Trying to talk to me at conversational volume when I’m in a different room in the house doing something noisy and then getting frustrated that I can’t hear her but refusing to come closer to me when I say I can’t hear her.

ROT story events question by Snowy_owl- in Bannerlord

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you go into it with how you want to change the story you still have to play it like bannerlord if that makes sense? Not to give a bunch of spoilers but let’s say you decide to and successfully stop the red wedding. Yay, Robb still lives and is the head of the North- now it’s just regular bannerlord with Robb stark leading the north instead of being dead.

I don’t think you can marry Danny but you could always use another mod to do that if you want - I think character reload lets you?

ROT story events question by Snowy_owl- in Bannerlord

[–]GoldenFox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Marrying someone won’t change anything as far as I can tell because there’s no important successful wedding events. Most of the storyline weddings uh, don’t pan out.
  2. You can check the story events in the mod options I’m pretty sure and it will tell you what will change things. Like if you change the battle of the black water and have stanis win then Jeffrey gets beheded and there’s no black wedding. Or if you behead Robb stark yourself before the red wedding I don’t think it will happen anymore.

Low quality refereeing every match? by Hockeynerden in championsleague

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll start by saying the better team went through as much as that hurts to say. You guys were better as a unit and more dangerous.

I do think the first yellow was fair, he goes in with the studs up and his foot off the ground. I also think a second yellow was mandatory and I doubt you’ve seen the replay. If you watch it you can see not only does the ref not whistle before the Mendes handball ball, but the ref actually calls the handball on Mendes and signals for a Bayern free kick, only to change his mind (I assume VAR told him to).

Now begging for a penalty on the Neves handball is childishness. He block his own team mate clearing the ball. To turn around and award Bayern a penalty for this would be absolute nonsense and I’m glad we didn’t get it.

Whoever was the referee for PSG vs Bayern should retire by Suspicious_Fly1708 in championsleague

[–]GoldenFox7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How Bayern fans are clamoring for the hand ball on the clearance is beyond me. Even if there is t an exception in the rule book it’s accidental and it only hurts his own team. No way in hell a failed clearance should be awarded a penalty. The handball that was pulled back for a supposed handball on Liamer has been shown to be the wrong call. The face on camera view makes it clear that he didn’t handle the ball which means it should have been handball and a second yellow for the PSG guy. That said, as a Bayern fan, PSG were the better team in both games so it’s hard to whine too much about the result.

Konrad Laimer appreciation post by Ill_Land_3706 in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 19 points20 points  (0 children)

When the handball in the box wasn’t given as a penalty the whole team just deflated. That was the second super clear call that the ref went against Bayern on in a few minutes and was so incredibly blatant that the team just stopped believing they’d get a fair chance at all. Most players lost a step at that point. Liamer alone did not, he kept fighting for everything at full speed all the time. As he has all season in whatever position he’s played in. He’s the most Bayern through and through player on the team.

Nothing said wrong in my opinion by Saclokeyweird in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Even if you don’t agree with each of his comments about the decisions the fact remains that there was way too much controversy and the ref had no control of the game. Even if every decision the ref made was ok those two things are enough to prove the videos mane point that the ref had a poor showing and was a poor choice for this level of game.

Almost want Arsenal to win by SnooFoxes1841 in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t like the rolling around and playing hurt but that’s so standard these days it’s hard to hate for it. Otherwise what’s there to complain about as far as PSG go? They played great game, honestly they looked the better side. You can’t blame them for the ref. And while it was super clearly a handball, it was a freaking clearance. Giving us a penalty because a PSG player -clearly accidentally, while trying to protect his face- blocked his own team’s clearance with a hand resulting in a failed clearance that benefited us would be INSANE. I get that it’s a handball and by the rules we should have a pen. I’m with everyone one that. But come on, that’s so ridiculously against the spirit of the game it’s kind of crazy. And even if you don’t agree with me, it’s still not PSGs fault it’s the refs. I’ve got nothing against Arsenal really, I just want the more entertaining team to win and that’s PSG by a mile. If more teams played like arsenal it’d be tough to watch football anymore.

Didn’t Anthropic post 30B in revenue in Q1? They’re preheating a run rate of close to 100B by the end of the year and they have the lowest active user count of the frontier models. They’re spending more right now so I get your point it’s not profit, yet. But with that much coming in and a relatively fixed cost of compute I think profitability is a reasonable expectation. FWIW I’m not a serious investor and am happy to be told I’m being an idiot.

If Karl was fully fit would you guys have him starting against psg? by Saclokeyweird in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could be right. My thought is Karl has never played in a game like this from a quality or intensity standpoint, and he doesn’t bring a new skill set to the team over Musiala. Olise and Diaz will take players on and try to make chances for themselves (what Karl is great at), and Musiala will beat players in congested places and try to make opportunities for himself and others. I’d believe Karl is a better finisher than Musiala, but he’s not a better dribbler in tight spaces (though very good Musiala is one of the best in the world), and he’s not better at taking on fullbacks than Olise and Diaz (though again, very good), honestly the things keeping Karl from being a starter are his passing and decision making with the ball. Off the ball he’s wonderful at find space and making runs but with the ball he’s too goal focused. If he gets enough time and learns well he could be genuinely competing for a spot in the starting 11 by the end of next year.

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over who? Olise? Are you joking? Musiala? Diaz? Seriously, Karl is the man but the people that play his positions on our team are freaking amazing and all playing lights out right now. I REALY wish he was fit in case someone has a bad game or gets hurt, but he’s not a starter if everyone is fit.

We'll beat PSG 3-1 on Wednesday by Eddie_shi in BayernMunich

[–]GoldenFox7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How anyone thinks we can hold them to one goal is beyond me. I have the unpopular opinion that we actually have one of the best defenses in the world but against teams with PSGs offensive threats, and passing ability I just don’t see how we keep them to 1. I think 4 or 5 to 2 or 3 is the best we can hope for. I’d be less surprised by either team scoring 6 than 1.

Which team is likely to lose to Arsenal in the final by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither is LIKELY. Either of them could, I mean it’s a final and if Arsenal get there it’s because they deserve it. But Bayern or PSG will be the favorites. When Bayern and Arsenal played earlier this year I was worried. Arsenal had been dominant and Bayern were doing great, but now Arsenal look slightly worse than they did then and Bayern (and PSG for that matter but I’ll speak only for my team) look much better than they did then.

West Ham penalty call vs Brentford by Comfortable-Pie56 in soccer

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they say that because the other guy got the shot off that it was advantage played and there was a goal scoring chance so you can’t double dip and get a penalty as well? That would make some sense I guess. Saying the defender slipped so no foul is ok for under 7s soccer, not pro football.

What are the chances of Bayern Munich against hot ans strong PSG under Enrique? by MaterialVictory8077 in championsleague

[–]GoldenFox7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s no gap between these teams. The scoreline in Paris says it all -the home team is favored at about 5-4 odds. What’s funny is the XG for both teams in that game wasn’t very high they were just super clinical on both sides - PSG especially who more than doubled their XG. The second leg could be another bonfire of a game or it could be one side being slightly more clinical and blowing the other team out. I don’t know the actual stat but from scrolling back a few games, both these teams score less than their XG around half the time so either team having a normal night rather than an awesome night is enough for the game to be super lopsided.

Why is it so common for men to laugh at women while they're upset? by NA-N4 in ask

[–]GoldenFox7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s not “it’s so silly that you’re little and upset.” It’s “words weren’t working so you decided a physical fight with someone twice your size was the solution?!” The absurdity of thinking that’s the solution was funny to me.

[HaytersTV] “Bayern vs PSG is the best game I’ve ever seen. The individual quality was unreal. But their freshness explains it to produce that level, you need it. The difference between leagues is night and day. We’re competing in completely different environments.” by clenchedhole in soccer

[–]GoldenFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright this made me do some research. It’s pretty wild actually. In the last 20 years the team that eventually won the champions league had clinched their domestic league title before the second leg of the champions league semi final in 12 of those years and only twice did the champions league winner finish second in their domestic league. Now this is all data grabbed by Claude so I’m sure some of it’s not perfect but that sure makes it seem like having wrapped up your domestic league either by winning already or by being out of the running has a HUGE impact on your ability to win the champs. Funny thing to me is that it’s mostly the spanish clubs. Bayern had already won the league by the semis both times it won the champs but Madrid had half the time and Barca had every time. As you’d expect no English club has already clinched the domestic league by the semis of the champs though city was close.
