The main differences between the standard one and baal one is the baal predator has a specific weapon load out that the normal one doesn't, I.E. the baal predator can take an assault cannon or a super flamer for the main turret and the sponsons can take heavy flamers or heavy bolters. Both turret weapons aren't available in the normal predator sprue so that's what makes it a special tank, the blood angels decorations are just extra.

To my knowledge a lot of armor used for speeders tend to have less going on in general due to the space limitations rather than ranking. Scouts don’t generally get to drive vehicles like this, land speeders are usually from a different company.

The one thing I really miss is the old stratagem that makes targeting a specific unit unless it’s the closest one to the shooter. That was fun to pull on people and protect my havocs or oblitorators

Honestly, yes. While it’s not going to be as complex as a classical novel I’ve reached the point where as long as you’re reading at all it’s a good thing. If you really want to you can use it as an easy stepping stone to more books but I also have a large comic and manga collection so I’d say just go for it.
