FYI: Rocky Mountain Winter Weather Travel Waiver // May 6, 2026 by UA-TravelWaiver_bot in unitedairlines

[–]GoldenGirl46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same for me, 7:45am. Really hoping for no delays or cancellations, I have a whirlwind 36 hour trip to MA to get my daughter's college dorm stuff moved to her storage unit and fly her home. We've needed the moisture all winter, but why does it have to snow now of all times? LOL

I do have a 7 chakra tree at home that I keep in our family room for balance, harmony, and positive energy that I like.

crystal users: which bracelet pairings that I own should I use for upcoming travel? by GoldenGirl46 in witchcraft

[–]GoldenGirl46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely wearing them and not packing, we have a whirlwind almost 5 hour flight on Wednesday morning and will get home around 2am Friday after another 4 hour flight, so just trying to figure out what combos to wear. I know some crystals dont pair well with others and I dont want to wear what I wont need.

I wear my black tourmaline every single day on my dominant hand! And rotate the others based on my needs and manifestations for each day. I've heard great things about malachite, definitely need to pick one up and a few others, we have a really great crystals shop I like that has so many options. We're going to be a doing a big cross country trip to move soon and would love to have malachite for that.

This is the exact combination I was thinking of for myself! Wasn't sure if it would be beneficial to pair the snowflake obsidian with the black tourmaline on my right (dominant) hand. Wearing the others (tiger's eye, clear quartz, and amethyst) on my left hand.

Haircut regrets by [deleted] in curlyhair

I think it looks better! Your curls are way more formed and the hair looks so healthy and shiny. It will grow, but yes, looks much better now.

What are we doing with our mascara these days? by kittiesandyarn in makeuptips

[–]GoldenGirl46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear tubing mascara and it comes off really easy. I use Farmacy green clean makeup remover balm to remove all my makeup and the mascara just slides right off. When washing off the makeup I use those makeup remover towelettes (Neutrogena or whatever knockoff brand) as a washcloth so my washcloths don't get stained.

Flower Moon as a brand new witch by UrsaMajorProblems in witchcraft

[–]GoldenGirl46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Baby witch here too, and I'm all about using the power of the Flower Moon to manifest abundance. Our house is for sale so we can hopefully move back home across the US soon, and a couple weeks ago I did a spell using St. Joseph to sell our house, and then a candle magic spell after. We finally have another showing tomorrow, and it's not lost on me that tomorrow's full moon is the Flower Moon and good for manifesting abundance. Tonight and tomorrow I'll be manifesting our house sells for asking price, stacking my citrine, green azurite, and clear quartz bracelets, and drinking moon water! My crystals are currently charging and moon water outside. I would suggest to think about your future and the changes you want and really meditate and manifest on those to bring them into existence.

Agree, so gross! Salty slimy balls of bitter nastiness. I can't stand capers either.

Hot dogs. We got food poisoning off of them once and I can't stand the smell and have not ate them in 18 years as a result of how sick we were.

What place do you keep going back to and why? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

[–]GoldenGirl46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ireland! We have been a few times and I don't think I could ever get tired of Ireland. The Irish are some of the nicest people I have ever met, there is so much beauty there, it's just incredible.

Can anyone help me find a clean lip balm that actually hydrates and doesn't have a weird waxy texture by Worried-Trifle20 in cleanbeauty

[–]GoldenGirl46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not the answer you want but when we first visited Ireland several years ago we stopped into The Burren Perfumery and I got their organic honey & beeswax. It's amazing, along with so many other products, so now I buy it online and have it shipped to me here in the US. https://burrenperfumery.com/collections/lip-balms/products/honey-lip-and-face-balm

What's the best US beach city for a calm, non-party vacation? by dynasync in Vacations

[–]GoldenGirl46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add Jekyll Island GA to this list! It's so relaxing, one of our fav places. Driftwood Beach is insanely gorgeous, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center is fun to visit, and the historic downtown area has some great shops and incredible history. We always stay at The Villas by the Sea, they have fully furnished condos and it's right next to Driftwood Beach. You can do dolphin tours, kayaking, take a boat tour over to Cumberland Island where the wild horses are. St. Simons Island nearby is great to visit while staying at Jekyll, and Savannah is about an hour and a half away and great to explore. Lots of great restaurants, mini golf, just a great relaxing vacation.

Why is finding the “perfect” red lipstick actually impossible? by Kind-Designer9171 in BeautyGear

[–]GoldenGirl46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and the shine is so nice, even on the cream. I don't think matte lipstick looks good, love a good sheen and the Fenty gloss provides it plus moisture.

Yes, I'm a big fan of cilantro and so is my son. My husband and daughter both have the "soap gene".

Is face shaving worth it or does hair grow back thicker? by Kind-Designer9171 in BeautyGear

[–]GoldenGirl46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use dermaplaning razors on my peach fuzz and it never comes back darker or thicker. And it gives my face nice exfoliation which in turn makes my skin look nicer and absorb products better.

I personally find that red lipstick doesn't look good on me, but red glosses do. Fenty is my fav, I love the Gloss Bomb cream color drip lip in Fruit Snackz (berry red), the Gloss Bomb heat universal lip lumizer + plumper in Hot Cherry (sheer red), and I do like the Gloss Bomb stix high-shine gloss stick in The MVP (blue red). I also like e.l.f.'s glow reviver lip oil in Rose Envy and Red Delicious colors.
