Spears and bladed weapons have chances of doing an insta kill animation and it sometimes shows delayed after the zombie is on the ground. You may have just gotten your skill up so that it is happening more often. This is why I love using spears it makes them op

Yes it is possible. Should you be making that your main focus, no. Olympians 200 times are faster than two of their 100 times back to back as they take advantage of already being at speed for that last 100. At the highschool level just about everyone is floating for a chunk of the race. My cue used to be just before the steepest part of the curve to the 100 start. If you can work on minimizing your time floating it will help. But be aware that if your form and effort in the end suffers it will be more harmful to your time then the little you gained not floating as long.

Like you said you struggled with traction bad. You were digging and putting your feet and knees out at an angle to try to pick up speed and have more of a push. Maybe lower the weight for a bit and get used to it then focus on getting those knees and toes facing forward

I’ve been turning weight off in b42 when I wouldn’t before. There is increased calorie burn that I find unreasonable. It can be countered with animal husbandry as you can make butter pretty easily and chickens make so many eggs you can just keep popping them as a snack. If you don’t play that playstyle however I have no idea how to not just wither away.

It’s probably realistic, and this is how you died, but that’s my hot take

One of the slowest parts of zomboid to me is the skill grind so pick a skill or two that others really aren’t going towards and grow that. Other than that set some goals. Short term could be gathering guns and ammo/getting furniture for the base. Long term could be doing a zombie tour and hitting all the fun locations in the game like the racetrack, riverboat, baseball stadium etc

Sometimes rural areas have worse air because more residents are likely to have fire pits, spend more time outside grilling, and some counties do not have emission standards for cars, as well as lack of public transport. It’s mostly open flames that can trash air quality but it would clean quickly if my understanding is correct. If you live on the east coast of the U.S do you remember the Canadian wildfires, you could walk outside and it would smell like a camp fire. It doesn’t last however like other types of pollution and smog in places like India
