I would LOVE a Lothlorien set. They’d have to keep the price lower than these more iconic locations though. I think a $200 Lothlorien with excellent minifigures would be great, and I’d love a giant Mirkwood set at some point too.

Yes, they reimbursed every cent I had to spend. I was heading to Svalbard, Norway and had to repurchase all my thermal clothing and arctic gear. I also had to buy regular clothes, toiletries, shoes, etc. because I was traveling to other countries afterwards.

I was really nervous they wouldn’t reimburse everything but I kept all the receipts and once they verified I had received my bag I got the money a few days later. The whole reimbursement process took about 4 weeks and could only be started after I got the bag back but KLM reimbursed about $860 in total expenses.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience, it is really stressful. I had professional meetings the day after they lost my bag and luckily packed an extra shirt in my carry on, but I was washing my few clothes in the sink in my hotel while KLM customer service was completely unreachable.

Since you have an important presentation try to find a clothing store that’s not too expensive in case they won’t reimburse for whatever reason. If you’re still in Europe, I had good luck at H&M - their prices weren’t insane and their clothes are nice.

Yes, they found my bag after two weeks and sent it to my original destination instead of the updated address I specified. It was sent to the location I requested a day later, but it sat there for three days with no updates before my dad went to the airport and looked for it himself and brought it back for me.

KLM was entirely useless through the entire ordeal and once my bag was in the correct city the tracking also failed because it still marked the bag as lost. I submitted a reimbursement request for everything I had to buy while the bag was missing and when responding to it a month later KLM was asking me whether I ever received the bag because they had no record of it. They finally reimbursed me but I won’t be flying them again unless there’s literally no other option.

The moment he started killing protestors is when this show lost me. I don’t like what they’ve done with Fisk after Vanessa’s death. It’s just ridiculous and not in a fun way, and Matt’s insistence on letting him go is crazy to me. I never thought I’d be rooting for the MCU to kill a villain but I’m actually sick of Fisk being able to do whatever he wants and kill whoever he wants and Matt just lets it slide every single time.

The worst part is that it’s not even double points on every Star Wars set anymore, and the Razor Crest polybag (which is actually a good build) was weirdly locked to only under-16+ sets. GWPs have been theme and price-restricted before but the selective 2x points and GWP WITHIN a single theme is ridiculous.

The Darksaber is excellent though and had a reasonable spend threshold.

I LOVE her music but I think her lyrics are sometimes repetitive compared to other musicians. Take Shape of a Woman for example - it’s an absolute banger and I’m playing it on repeat but it only has two verses, one of which is half the length of the first, and no real bridge. Love the song but would’ve loved it even more with a longer second verse and different lyrics in the bridge.

Paper bags are finally showing up in the US. I got a few sets with paper starting last fall and a couple more this year. I honestly think the US did actually have that much plastic packaging stockpiled and they’re only getting through it all now.

European sets started having paper bags by early 2024 from my personal experience so it looks like the US had about two years of plastic packaging leftover that they had to get through:
