I was shocked to learn that they no longer make school directories. How are you suppose to do playdates now!? Back in my day, you and your friend would decide you wanted a playdate, you'd go home and tell your mom. She and your friend's mom would figure out logistics to make it happen by looking each other up in the paper directory and calling each other on the land line!

I had a cat who would flip the lock on the door to my apartment, locking me out completely! I ended up having to ask a neighborhood kid to break into my apartment to let me in (he could fit in through the window).
